happy mother's day!

ramona's in the front seat

she's got a new dress

and her hair is a hundred shades

and she's so tan for the winter

and she's putting on her makeup

with one skinny leg on the dashboard

her tendinitis ankle resting on an icepack

she blinks her mascara

and kisses her lipstick

and i think i want to make movies

sometimes you just have to spend 25 cents

on the complete guide to disco dancing.

america, the time has come for us to move forward, not backward,

upward, not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!
